General Labor. 10 temporary, full-time positions. 12/16/2025 to 04/30/2026. Arctaris Saddleback Ski Operations located at 976 Saddleback Mountain Road Rangeley, Maine 04970. Maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or small equipment, like snowblowers. Workers typically perform a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following: shoveling snow, clearing walkways, delivering firewood, moving lawn furniture for storage, checking lodge for locked doors, cleaning snowmaking hoses. May help resort workers with trash removal from large events, set up folding chairs, and cleaning floors. Assisting customers to park and directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

The worker will be employed as a General Labor worker at a ski resort. Tasks are assigned through an internal work order system and may vary daily depending on operational needs. The following clarifies the specific functions and tools used:

• Maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or small equipment, like snowblowers: Workers may shovel snow from walkways, spread salt or sand for traction, rake or sweep.

• Cleaning snowmaking hoses: Workers may collect, move, and clean snowmaking hoses to keep them free of ice, snow, and debris. Tools and equipment include brooms, shovels, utility knives (to cut zip ties or secure hoses), and water sources for rinsing as directed by supervisors.

• Assisting customers to park and directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic: Workers may guide vehicles into designated areas using reflective safety vests, handheld stop/slow paddles, or traffic cones. They may also direct pedestrian traffic in crowded or icy areas to maintain safety. 40 hours per week. 8-hour workday. Sunday-Saturday, days vary, 7:30am-4:30pm, 4 hours of OT possible. No minimum education required. 3 months of experience is required. The employee will not supervise other workers. Travel will not be required. Wage: $19.98/hour. OT Wage: $29.97/hour. Workers paid weekly. Optional housing available for $728 to $1084 per month depending on accommodations.
