NEW Blood Bank Supervisor OR IRL Supervisor opening at one of the most reputable reference laboratories in the United States! This laboratory is known to follow rigorous quality standards and process controls to meet state and local regulatory requirements. They are looking to hire a ASCP Certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS)| Medical Technologist (MT) OR SBB (Specialist in Blood Bank) to work in its Upstate New York based laboratory. Laboratory Technologists can expect to perform (in accordance with standard operating procedures and applicable regulatory requirements) basic and advanced donor and patient tests, and interpret results to determine donor-recipient compatibility. This is a permanent and full time, second shift position (with some flexibility). In addition to the above certifications, applicants must have his or her Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Science in addition to a New York State License as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. In addition, applicants should at least 6 years of high complexity and high volume blood bank experience. Compensation package includes a highly competitive hourly rate and fantastic benefits (including comprehensive medical plans,PTO and paid holidays, 401(k)and ample opportunity for career development).
