Job description

D2B Groups is seeking a dedicated Sales Engineer specializing in Backup Power Generators to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying opportunities and providing technical expertise in the backup power generation market. You will work closely with consulting engineers, contractors, and end users to promote and specify backup power generator solutions that meet project requirements.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and present proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and ensure successful project implementation. This position requires a strong understanding of power generation systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) preferred
  • 3-5 years of sales engineering experience in the backup power generation or related industries
  • Technical knowledge of backup power generators, including diesel and natural gas systems
  • Experience working with consulting engineers, contractors, and end users
