COLSA is looking for an experienced storage/backup analyst to help manage storage infrastructure for our customer. A great candidate would have NAS administration experience, have a working knowledge of enterprise grade backup and recovery software (NetBackup experience a plus), and be familiar with the operation and maintenance of tape libraries (Quantum and SpectraLogic experience a plus).

Responsibilities & Essential Functions Perform storage administration tasks such as system deployment, data and volume management, managing user/group, security permissions, group policies, storage networking, and scheduling backups. Create, update, and support documentation of guidelines, procedures, standards, and controls. Monitor storage health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise.

Required Experience Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) field or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years related experience Active DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. Must be able to obtain a CI Scope Polygraph within 180 days of hire date.

U.S. Citizenship required. Certified at DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+ CE, ISC2 SSCP, or equivalent).

Enterprise and data center storage management (DDN, IBM, NetApp, Quantum, Spectra Logic, NAS, SAN, GPFS/StorageScale, NFS, CIFS, Lustre). Hardware troubleshooting (Power, Mainboard, CPUs, PCIe, RAM, Local Storage, Network). Linux workstation and/or server operating system administration (RHEL 8/9, Rocky 8/9, CentOS 7/8).

Programming/scripting in high-level languages (C, C++, Perl, Python, Bash, PowerShell). Preferred Qualifications Active DoD TS/SCI with CI Polygraph. Data center virtualization (VMware Horizon, vCenter, ESXi, Hyper-V, Nutanix, AppVol, Grid, KVM, Qemu, RHEV).

HPC Scheduling (Slurm, Torque, PBS, MOAB, Kubernetes, LSF). Windows workstation and/or server operating system administration (Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2019/2022). Storage networking certification (NCDA, NCIE, Storage+, SCSN-E) Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
