  • HVAC Mechanic/Building Engineer Providence, RI:

    Dae Sung, LLC is currently seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic/Building Engineerto provide operations and mechanical maintenance services at the J.O. Pastore Federal Building in Providence, RI.This is a full time union position. Benefits to include: Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays, Health & Welfare Benefits and Pension in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement.

    HVAC Mechanics will receive an hourly pay increase based on the job classification/qualifications/duties. Here are the job classifications/qualifications/duties:

    H.V.A.C Level I- $40.78- Qualifications: One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties: HVAC Responsibilities, Pursue/receive HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license.

    H.V.A.C Level II - $44.86- Qualifications: One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties: Supervisor Responsibilities, HVAC Responsibilities, Pursue/receive HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license.

    H.V.A.C Level III - $47.93- Qualifications: HVAC local/state journeyperson grade license. (Excess of 10 tons). One of 3 listed certifications (NATE, HVAC Excellence, UA Star), EPA Universal CFC certification, GSA approval. Duties: HVAC Responsibilities.

    HVAC Mechanic/Building Engineermust have a minimum of(5-8)years' experienceinbuilding maintenanceandoperation, maintainingfacilities andworking on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment. HVAC Mechanic must be competent to performoperations,preventive and corrective maintenance on BAS,boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems. Candidates must also have general maintenance knowledge on how to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

    • High School Diploma or G.E.D is required.
    • Universal EPA or CFC certification is required.
    • Technical training in HVAC is highly desired.
    • HVAC RI journeyperson license required.
    • Must be willing to obtain/maintain NATE Certification within 6 months of employment.
