Position: HVAC Applied Chiller Technician

What Youโ€™ll Do

As an HVAC Applied Chiller Technician at CCI, youโ€™ll take the lead on diagnosing, servicing, and overhauling centrifugal and aircooled chillers. Youโ€™ll represent the CCI brand directly with customers, ensuring exceptional service and reliable system performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul chillers, pumps, and cooling towers.
  • Support HVAC service needs for commercial and industrial facilities.
  • Build strong, professional relationships with customers and facility representatives.
  • Perform routine maintenance on chillers, towers, pumps, and airhandling equipment.
  • Use advanced tools, technologies, and engineering specifications to diagnose issues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by accurately identifying and resolving equipment problems.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree or certification in HVAC preferred.
  • 5โ€“10 years of HVAC facility maintenance experience.
  • EPA Universal CFC certification (required).
  • UA Journeyman card is a plus.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with BAS systems and energy management controls.
  • Knowledge of centrifugal chillers and broad HVAC/mechanical systems.
  • Strong organization and timemanagement skills.
  • Valid U.S. driverโ€™s license with ability to operate a company vehicle.

Physical Requirements

This role requires regular standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and lifting equipment up to 75 lbs. Vision abilities must include close, distance, color, and depth perception.
