Job description

The Market Supervisor oversees the daily operations of B&B Market, a convenient grab-and-go destination offering made-to-order breakfast options, handcrafted espresso beverages, fresh salads and wraps, gelato, and a variety of snacks, beer, and wine. This role ensures exceptional guest service, food quality, and operational excellence by leading and supporting team members, maintaining inventory and merchandising standards, and upholding cleanliness and food safety practices. The Market Supervisor leads by example, assisting with food and beverage preparation while fostering a welcoming environment and a positive, high-performing team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supports the F&B Managers in leading and assisting the Market team on the floor during service
  • Customer communication pre, during and post dining experience, including resolution of service-related concerns
  • Communicates all necessary information to the front and back of house staff for each shift including but not limited to daily line up, specials and events
  • Enforces high standards of hygiene and sanitation within the outlets
  • Ensures the security of monies, credit and financial transactions
  • Supervises the performance, attendance, attitudes, appearance and conduct of team
  • Other duties as assigned my leadership

Qualifications 

-       Refined verbal and written communication

-       Effective listening and demonstrated problem solving skills

-       Ability to work in a high energy environment

-     Ability to stand for long periods of time

-     Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 25 lbs.)

-       Previous experience in a food service environment preferred

-    Ability to work a flexible schedule that will mainly include evenings, weekends, and holidays
