Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary AVP Tech, Software Development Lead who is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, demonstrating a strong client focus and a commitment to teamwork.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Design and Development: Oversee and actively participate in the design and development of high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance using C#, AngularJS, jQuery, and MS SQL Server 2022.
  • Collaborate with Product Teams: Work closely with Product Owners and Product Managers to translate business challenges into effective technical solutions.
  • Risk Assessment and Documentation: Conduct technical assessments of risks and issues, providing well-documented recommendations.
  • Coordinate Solution Design: Collaborate with leaders from Architecture, Data, Infrastructure, and Business to optimize speed to market.
  • Coach and Mentor the Team: Guide the team in developing comprehensive technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines.
  • Facilitate Communication: Maintain regular communication with both technical and non-technical groups.
  • Champion an AI- and design-enabled engineering culture aligned with enterprise standards
  • Define governance, guardrails, and best practices for AI usage and design-to-development workflows

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in full-stack application development utilizing .NET/Java, Angular/JavaScript, REST APIs, and relational databases with TDD approach
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with enterprise software development processes, including documentation through sequence diagrams, activity diagrams
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in developing microservices and implementing API-first design principles
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with AWS technologies (AWS Lambda, Step Functions)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering

Core Competencies:
AI Awareness & Design Expectations
  • Using AI copilots (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Antigravity) to accelerate development
  • Applying LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for code generation, review, refactoring, debugging
  • Familiarity with Figma for design collaboration
  • Understanding responsible AI usage including data privacy and security

Preferences:
  • API Management experience with SwaggerHub
  • Cloud transformation expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Understanding of DevSecOps practices
  • Proficiency in source control and CI/CD
  • Mentorship and development skills
  • BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Pay Range:
$140,500.00 - $234,100.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
