Job Overview:

The M&A function within LPL Financial technology is responsible for planning, orchestration and execution enabling seamless integration of incoming Advisors, Investors and Home office users. We are looking for a passionate delivery-oriented leader who will represent technology in the large M&A integrations. You will foster a strong relationship and be the point of contact for conversion with the partner institution. You will work closely with the partner institution and the LPL domain/product teams to understand/document the technology requirements, issues, concerns and facilitate the delivery. As a trusted technology partner, you will drive the outcomes and help provide transparency on execution and operational KPIs. You will work closely with various teams representing technology, documenting technology requirements and driving the execution of these deals while looking for efficiencies

Responsibilities:

  • Be the primary technology point of contact for multiple partner institutions representing LPL. This includes strengthening and nurturing technology partnership with the partner institution, presenting solutions proactively and being the conduit between the partner institution and LPL technology teams

  • Engage the right teams in a timely manner, dissipate the required information across teams, facilitate cross domain and partner institution engagements, communicate schedules and drive delivery of the capabilities.

  • Understand requirements and concerns, navigate it to the right product owners, escalate issues to domain stakeholders and drive commitments and resolutions from product owners and technology leadership

  • Assist in the management of the initiatives through the establishment of metrics and promote a high degree of transparency on execution.

  • Develop sound understanding of LPL technology ecosystems including advisor and investor facing products/platforms, data ecosystems and integration mechanisms.

  • Develop sound understanding of partner institution technologies and their integrations with LPL applications, data dependencies and capability requirements.

  • Drive decision-making and demonstrate persistence in raising issues to the proper levels for attention and driving transparency at all levels surrounding program execution.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology including leadership roles that span across development, program management and delivery leadership, preferably within a financial service or related FinTech firm

  • 2+ years of experience in handling projects related to data readiness, migration, API integrations and post-delivery support.

  • Software engineering background with 3+ years of prior development experience

Core Competencies:

  • Expert communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to create/present executive presentations and serve as one of the recognized subject matter experts on the team.

  • Expert consensus-builder who drives change across initiatives within and outside direct accountability and evaluates solutions to the most complex business challenges.

  • The ability to work in a cross-functional team and drive outcomes without having direct authority. Actively anticipates, identifies, and manages risks within position, scope and at the company.

  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities and evaluate results against established objectives.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering technology programs involving multiple teams.

  • Ability to build and foster enduring relationships with clients and cross functional teams.

Preferences:

  • Deep understanding and working knowledge of Finance technology platforms.

  • Proven experience on advisor and investor facing technologies and platforms.

Pay Range:

$112,064.00 - $186,842.00
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
