Chapman Las Vegas Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to provide exceptional customer service to every customer who brings their vehicle in for service. As the primary point of contact throughout the service process, you'll educate customers on their vehicle's maintenance needs, coordinate with technicians and parts associates, and help ensure a positive ownership experience from check-in through vehicle delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule, confirm, and prepare for customer appointments, ensuring an efficient service experience
  • Determine vehicle needs based on customer feedback, vehicle inspection, and current mileage, and recommend additional services for optimal vehicle performance
  • Create repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates, with full transparency, and obtain customer authorizations
  • Understand and administrate Manufacturer and Extended Warranties during repairs
  • Communicate regularly with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of work
  • Prioritize required services and monitor the progress of vehicle repairs throughout the day, keeping customers updated
  • Follow up with customers upon completion of services to ensure customer satisfaction, addressing any questions or concerns promptly

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive Service Advisor/Service Writer experience required
  • Manufacturer Warranty Claims knowledge and experience
  • Extended Warranty Claims processing experience
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Ability to clearly explain vehicle maintenance and repair recommendations to customers
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to achieve sales goals
  • Valid Nevada driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
