Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Automotive Office Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the automotive industry and a thorough understanding of dealership operations. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily financial processes, ensuring compliance with dealership policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate accounting records. As an integral part of the office management team, you will collaborate with staff to ensure smooth month-end processes and accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies and procedures to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to effectively manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize automotive industry experience to understand the unique financial requirements and processes specific to a dealership setting.
  • Ensure books are accurate and ready for the Controller's review, providing detailed financial data.
  • Reconcile the dealership’s bank accounts daily to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Submit timely financial statements to manufacturers in accordance with required timelines and formats.
  • Review and verify accounting schedules to ensure all financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Work closely with the office staff to ensure books are prepared and accurate for the month-end closing process.
  • Handle the payment of floorplan for vehicles, ensuring accurate processing and timely payments.
  • Assist with other accounting and administrative tasks as needed to support the operations of the dealership.

Qualifications:

  • Basic accounting knowledge is required.
