ย ย Responsibilities
  • Guide customers through the vehicle financing and protection product purchasing process
  • Present finance and insurance products using a professional menu presentation
  • Structure automotive finance deals and secure approvals through lending institutions
  • Partner with banks, credit unions, and finance companies to obtain competitive financing for customers across a wide range of credit profiles
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders and financial partners
  • Offer vehicle service contracts, GAP protection, maintenance plans, tire & wheel protection, and other F&I products that fit each customerโ€™s needs
  • Review credit applications and determine financing solutions for prime, near-prime, and subprime customers
  • Maximize finance product penetration while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction (CSI)
  • Ensure all finance documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with dealership policies, manufacturer requirements, and all state and federal regulations
  • Maintain full compliance with all lender, manufacturer, state, and federal requirements
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales Team to create a smooth, efficient purchasing experience
  • Maintain organized deal jackets and ensure timely funding of all contracts
  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience that generates repeat business and customer referrals
ย ย Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Automotive Finance Manager, F&I Manager, Finance & Insurance Manager, Automotive Business Manager, Automotive Sales Manager, Desk Manager, or Finance Director preferred
  • Proven success selling finance and insurance products in a dealership environment
  • Strong knowledge of automotive lending, compliance, retail installment contracts, and dealership operations
  • Experience with RouteOne, Dealertrack, CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar dealership management and lender software is preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to explain financing options clearly while building trust with customers
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance
  • Technology-driven with the ability to quickly learn new software and systems
  • Valid driverโ€™s license with an acceptable driving record
