Position Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Engineer / Drafter to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

Assist the Engineering Manager with:

  • 2D and 3D drafting, including creating models and detailed drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
  • Interpreting and working from blueprints and technical drawings
  • Preparing and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM)
  • Revising drawings and BOMs as needed
  • Supporting quality assurance processes and updating designs prior to final release
  • Maintaining strong communication and collaboration within the team


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • High School Diploma required; Mechanical Engineering degree preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility with workload demands
  • Ability to read and interpret codes and government documents
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Minimum of 3 years drafting experience preferred (training available for the right candidate)
  • College graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Elevator industry experience is a plus


Skills & Abilities

  • Strong computer skills, including in-house and Microsoft programs
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor (Inventor expertise is highly valued)
