Description
Vaughn Industries, LLC is looking for an innovative individual to join our team as a VDC Utility Detailer/Modeler to work within our VDC Department. Join our team to be part of fast-growing, exciting field of 3-D modeling and design of Sub-stations and Renewable Energy Projects. Duties will include:
  • Model parts and equipment for substations, transmission or renewable energy for prefabrication
  • Work with Utility VDC coordination team in creating 3D models of substations, transmission, and renewable energy projects.
  • Help prepare fabrication and install drawings for construction
  • Generate installation drawings for use by field and prefabrication personnel
  • Work towards becoming a VDC Utility Coordinator

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience using Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works or construction experience in High Voltage Substation/Transmission/Distribution, or Renewable Energy or other related field
  • 1-2 Experience with Autodesk, Inventor, or Solid Works is a plus but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret design or construction documents preferred
