About Fulcrum Technologies, Inc.
Fulcrum Technologies, Inc. is a world-class leader in designing and manufacturing custom machine bases for vibration-sensitive production tools used in semiconductor fabrication.
DUTIES:
  • Develop concepts and produce complex Inventor 3D models and drawings for new products.
  • Develop fabrication fixtures and tooling for new and existing designs.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Testing Engineering, Quality, Production, and Install to design new products and resolve production issues.
  • Modify existing designs as required following company revision procedures.
  • Work closely with Project Management and Production during development and first time builds of new products.
  • Update new designs based on customer feedback.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Approximately 3 years of experience of mechanical design using Autodesk Inventor 2018 or newer.
  • Approximately 3 years of experience of 2D drafting with AutoCAD.
  • Produce full engineering documentation including detailed fabrication drawings and bill of materials.
  • Experience with an engineering change management system.
  • Work with both metric and U.S. standard units.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience designing for a metal fabrication shop with knowledge of welding processes and symbology.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Successful candidate must pass drug test and criminal background check prior to job offer.

PREFERENCES:
  • Some experience with an ERP system.
  • Knowledge of metal machining practices, surface finishes, and GD&T principles.
  • Previous hands-on fabrication experience.

EDUCATION:
  • B.S. Mechanical Engineering, A.A.S Drafting or similar, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

ENVIRONMENT:
  • Office environment that supports fast paced manufacturing work cells.
  • Occasional visits to manufacturing floor where PPE must be worn.
  • This is an onsite position, not a hybrid position. Some remote work is allowed on an as-needed basis.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Travel is not required.
  • Full-time, permanent position with excellent benefits.

The pay range for this role is:
27 - 31 USD per hour (Tualatin HQ)
