Job Title: Mech-Design Engineer

Location: Allentown, PA
Job Type: Contract

Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify 3D models, component drawings, and assembly drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Design electrical/system enclosures, vacuum components, gas delivery systems, and pneumatic assemblies.
  • Support prototype builds, testing, troubleshooting, and system integration.
  • Prepare design review materials and technical documentation.
  • Support design transfer, manufacturing, and production release activities.
  • Apply GD&T and relevant ASTM standards to designs.

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical design and material selection experience.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor; experience with Vault, Tube & Pipe, Cable & Harness, and Sheet Metal preferred.
  • Experience with Enovia PLM is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
