Job description

About Us: We are a manufacturing business located in Maysville, Kentucky, looking for someone skilled with 3D design using Autodesk Inventor, capable of creating detailed 3D assembly models, working drawings, parts, and supporting inventory/drafting tasks. Working with team members across factory locations is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and modify 3D mechanical drawings / models using Autodesk Inventor.

  • Produce detailed drawings for manufacturing (dimensions, tolerances, BOM).

  • Convert sketches or 2D drawings into full 3D assemblies.

  • Collaborate with shop floor / manufacturing to ensure designs are manufacturable.

  • Assist with inventory documentation and possibly updating/creating CAD-based parts lists.

  • Review and adjust designs as needed for fit, function, and manufacturability.

  • Collaborate with other locations including virtual assistants.

  • Team leader position available.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (3D modeling, assemblies, detail drawings).

  • Strong understanding of mechanical drafting standards, dimensioning, tolerances.

  • Some experience with inventory or parts documentation is a plus.

  • Good communication skills; ability to work with production/manufacturing.

  • Reliable, detail oriented, able to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work on site.
