The Audio/Video Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of media production to ensure the creation and timely delivery of high quality, creative, and original video and audio content.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • (30%) Oversee and direct the complete audio/video process from-pre-production planning with storyboarding, scripting, scouting and call sheets as needed-production requirements of staging, talent and capturing quality content-post-production editing and final content preparation and archiving of all audio/video projects to ensure flawless execution that meets project goals.
  • (25%)Manage day-to-day audio/video activity working closely with cross-functional teams, including in-house creative, communications, marketing strategy and outreach-and agency partners.Direct, review and proof audio/video content to ensure all deadlines, quality of excellence and brand standards are met-including photography, video edits and audio mixes. Stimulate creative innovation, inspire growth, and develop the professionalism of the audio/video team.
  • (20%) Execute strategic marketing initiatives as it relates to audio/video production and storytelling. Lead audio/video requirements and deliverables in project briefs, including the scheduling and reporting for production. Effectively participate in creative and conceptual brainstorming sessions for project kickoffs.
  • (15%) Maintain studio equipment and uphold best practices-researching industry trends and technical advancements for proactively improving efficiency and performance-adhere to and report on budgets, and manage assignments-evaluating and adjusting resources and capacity as needed to meet SME and Marketing leadership expectations.
  • (10%) Act as a steward of the brand and representative of the credit union mission. Articulate and support our vision to achieve overall business goals and help maintain consistency across all channels featuring audio/video content.

Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

  • Bachelor's degree in a creative or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Video Production Environment with 1 year being in a lead or mentor role.
  • Experience with audio recording, mixing and editing.
  • Experience working with video editing software (Adobe Premiere).
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, video publishing platforms, and digital asset management systems.
  • Working knowledge of motion graphics software (After Effects).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented, organizational, time management and analytical skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong initiative and sense for priorities with the ability to lead work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong team player, leader, self-starter, and positive catalyst who can manage, motivate, and mentor teams and internal clients.
  • Knowledge of creative trends and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to understand and connect with creative people.
  • Ability to direct and critique the work of creative resources and individuals.
  • Travel often required.
