We specialize in interaction, animation, cinematic UX, and engaging content-forward interfaces, working horizontally across products and platforms to create performant, intuitive, and delightful user experiences that immerse users, effectively convey information, and foster connections between Netflix, members, soon-to-be members, and B2B partners.

The Role We are looking for a Product / Visual Design hybrid to join the team. In this role you will be responsible for a range of creative execution that requires a flexible skillset, including content-forward creative to UI feature design, and brand assets that live within the Netflix UI. All this creativity will be brought to life in partnership with teammates who specialize in Audio, Motion, and Video in the context of compelling Product storytelling.

At times, you will craft immersive, story-driven experiences expressed through aspirational product prototypes; at others, you will design intuitive, scalable experiences that seamlessly align with and extend our design systems. Across all work, you'll be expected to demonstrate exceptional visual craft while collaborating horizontally across teams and surfaces to envision and build product experiences that advance business goals while elevating the aesthetics and usability of the Netflix product experience. Your Impact: Visual design across TV, mobile, and web surfaces, spanning member and nonmember experiences.

Creates cinematic storytelling experiences through visual design to elevate product experiences that communicate concepts, emotions, and creative vision. Partner with motion, AV, and audio teams to integrate storytelling into interactions. Turn business goals into interfaces that delight, inform, and engage.

Prototype and test high-fidelity concepts, from sketches and wireframes to vision videos and interactive prototypes. Define scalable frameworks, style guides, and visual design systems that unify Netflix's product experiences. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Design Systems, and Research to ensure holistic experience quality.

Deliver a variety of artifacts and storytelling mediums, including qual stimuli, mockups, videos, promotional concepts, and business storytelling presentations. Must Have: A combination of Product Design and entertainment and/or Brand expertise. Ability to craft visionary UX concepts grounded in user needs with strategic thinking.

Exceptional craft and attention to detail, with a passion for maintaining high quality. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including video, audio, and motion graphics on a variety of creative artifacts. Experience to ship complex products by working within technical constraints, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving toward successful outcomes.

Strong cross-discipline partnership skills, able to see the big picture strategically, bring pieces together, and drive clarity through ambiguity. Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate design decisions and strategy with influence. Proactive and self-starting, able to uncover and propose solutions independently.

Ability to participate in and influence impactful design solutions across all phases of the product lifecycle. In depth knowledge of Figma. Fluent with AI design tools-actively uses them to increase workflow efficiency and elevate design quality.

Passion for entertainment, content-rich product, storytelling, and elevating creative experiences. Bonus: Creative vision experience or strategic product roadmap. Strong prototyping skills using Figma Motion, Principle, ProtoPie, After Effects, Rive, and Lottie.

ECXD offers a space where art and technology intersect, giving you freedom to push creative boundaries while shaping the future of multimedia design across the Netflix ecosystem. Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options.

To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $220,000.00 - $330,000.00. This compensation range will vary based on location
