How Can I Get a Job as an Audio-Visual Design Engineer?

Most audio-visual design engineer positions require a bachelor’s degree in electronic technology or a related field, but some employers consider candidates who do not have a degree but have extensive experience developing audio-visual systems. Some in this field start their careers with an entry-level job in the audio-visual department of a company and work their way up to engineer positions. Proficiency in industry software such as Extron and Clearone is vital to this role, and you must understand technology infrastructure, UML design tools, and Intel platforms. Certification is not required, but earning Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) designation may make you more competitive in the job market.
