Audience Development & Partnerships Manager
Overview
Arc is seeking an Audience Development & Partnerships Manager to drive attendee growth for HR Tech US and FETC by building relationships, partnerships, and direct outreach strategies that expand high-value audiences.
This role is focused on identifying and converting high-impact audience segments and growth opportunities that go beyond traditional marketing channels. You will work with select groups of alumni attendees, exhibitors, associations, enterprise accounts, and international partners to increase registrations and strengthen retention where it matters most.
You will partner closely with the marketing team, which owns paid media, email deployment, social media, and creative execution. Your role is to identify growth opportunities, build relationships, and develop programs that help marketing scale those efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Priority Audience & Group Growth (Alumni + Enterprise)
• Identify and prioritize high-value attendee segments (including alumni and enterprise accounts) with strong potential for repeat and expanded attendance
• Complement marketing's broad-based campaigns by developing and executing targeted outreach strategies to drive increased group participation within the prioritized segments
• Build relationships with key contacts to grow multi-attendee participation within the prioritized segments
Exhibitor-Led Audience Growth (Select Accounts)
• Work with sales to identify a focused set of exhibitors with strong potential to drive attendee growth, and lead outreach and activation efforts with those accounts
• Drive adoption of invitation and guest pass programs among priority exhibitors
• Coordinate with marketing to support scalable promotion of exhibitor-driven initiatives
Partnerships & International Audience Development
• Develop relationships with associations, communities, and external partners to expand reach across priority audiences
• Identify and support targeted international growth opportunities and delegations
• Align with marketing and internal teams to support amplification of partnership-driven efforts
Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution Support
• Partner with marketing to align on audience targeting, messaging, and campaign priorities for key segments
• Collaborate with sales to identify and activate high-potential accounts (attendees and exhibitors)
• Contribute insights from direct outreach to inform campaign strategy and overall audience growth efforts
Requirements
Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of experience in audience development, partnerships, event marketing, attendee sales, account management, or business development
• Proven ability to drive growth through relationship-based strategies and direct outreach
• Experience working directly with external stakeholders (e.g., clients, partners, exhibitors, associations, or customer communities)
• Strong communication skills and comfort with proactive outreach (phone, email, and meetings)
• Ability to identify high-potential opportunities and independently drive them forward
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and other internal teams
• Organized and able to manage multiple relationships, accounts, or outreach efforts simultaneously
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to prioritize segments and inform outreach strategies
• Proficiency using Microsoft 365 suite
Preferred Experience
• Background in B2B conferences, trade shows, or large-scale events
• Experience growing group attendance, account-based engagement, or enterprise participation
• Experience working with exhibitor or sponsor organizations
• Experience building partnerships with associations or professional communities
• Experience supporting international audience growth or global event initiatives
• Familiarity with CRM systems and audience segmentation
Physical demands of the job include:
- Performing work in an indoor office environment. Remote work is permitted.
- Operating standard office equipment such as computers, printers, keyboards, monitors, phones, and other telecommunications or internet-enabled communications devices
- Possessing short-distance visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
- Occasionally lifting and carrying small parcels, packages and other items or traverse short distances. Ability to traverse long distances will be required when travelling to HR Tech, FETC, and other industry tradeshows, conferences, and networking events.
- 10-15% travel, as required.
Position Type and Expected Work Hours
This is a regular, full-time position. Work is typically conducted Monday - Friday, during core business hours, between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM.

The annual base salary for this role is $70,000.00 - 80,000.00. Factors used to determine the compensation range for a given position may impact what compensation within the stated range may be offered to any individual candidate (e.g., years of experience, level of education or credentials obtained, geographic and market considerations, etc.).
