Mentorship

  • Serve as a role model on and off the floor, embodying Pressed Roots culture, professionalism, and standards.
  • Build strong relationships with new hires, fostering confidence and growth.
  • Communicate consistently with leadership and training teams regarding stylist progress and needs.
  • Lead by example in reliability, professionalism, and team collaboration.

Client Services

  • Deliver high-quality silk blowout services in alignment with Pressed Roots standards.
  • Provide exceptional, luxury-level customer service to every client.
  • Balance training responsibilities with client bookings effectively.

Associate Trainer Responsibilities & Standards

    • Uphold all expectations, including:
      • Delivering exceptional customer service, even in high-pressure situations
      • Maintaining a polished, positive, and professional demeanor
      • Following all sanitation and safety standards (including TDLR guidelines)
      • Demonstrating strong time management, punctuality, and preparedness
      • Utilizing company systems (Google Drive, scheduling tools, and communication platforms) effectively.

Requirements

  • Valid Texas cosmetology license
  • Must always effectively and consistently use the Pressed Roots Method to produce Silk blowouts at Pressed Roots

  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to reach overhead to perform styling & cleaning tasks.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel to access styling tools, assist customers/staff, and/or maintain Studio cleanliness.
