POSITION SUMMARY
This role as an Associate Pricing Analyst supports revenue and profit optimization by assisting in the development of pricing strategies, analyzing market conditions, and supporting pricing and contracting operations. As a member of the Pricing & Contracting Team, you will contribute to improving pricing strategies and the pricing & contracting process. You will collaborate with various functional areas, including sales, finance, marketing, and operations, to assist in managing the company's pricing and contract capabilities.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Rebate Program Support
  • Manage rebate program operations:
    • Calculating rebate eligibility, validating customer compliance with program requirements, and ensuring accurate and timely rebate payments.
  • Analyze program performance and customer participation trends:
    • Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to optimize rebate effectiveness, financial outcomes, and customer adoption.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Contracting, and Customer Service:
    • Implement rebate programs, resolve customer inquiries, maintain program documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.

Pricing Support
  • Pricing Strategy Support:
    • Assist in analyzing market data to identify opportunities for pricing optimization.
    • Help evaluate existing pricing strategies and provide suggestions for improvements.
  • Program Support:
    • Support the implementation of pricing programs and assist with their ongoing management.
    • Help with the development and maintenance of tools, systems, and processes for pricing and contracting.
  • Price / Contract Reporting:
    • Support the preparation of reports on pricing trends, market insights, and price drivers.
    • Assist in the analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) for pricing programs.
    • Provide support on contracting analytics
  • Price Execution & Management:
    • Assist in the creation and training of sales teams on pricing guidelines
    • Help enforce governance policies and assist in managing pricing & contracting tools and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
Required Experience:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience or strong academic background in pricing models, business analytics, or economics (medical device or healthcare industry experience a plus).
  • Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project management skills
Preferred Experience:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with market research and competitive analysis.
  • Basic understanding of pricing strategies and market dynamics.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfort working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

The salary for this position will be offered at a level consistent with the experience and qualifications of the candidate.
