Ryan US, Inc. has an immediate career opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our team! This is an IN-OFFICE opportunity in our Minneapolis corporate headquarters. Our Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the data and analytics needs of our Construction teams focusing on scheduling and field operations. In this position, you will be responsible for finding meaningful connections and insights in all levels of company data that will drive smarter business decisions.

We strive to be a trusted advisor to each client by providing creative, accurate, and timely solutions to the ever-changing world of commercial real estate.


Some things you can expect to do:

  • Provide data analytics support for construction field operations focusing on areas like scheduling and safety across all regions and product types.

  • Become a subject matter expert in datasets related to scheduling and field operations.

  • Assist Scheduling team with scrubbing project data upon project completion for archiving.

  • Build, test, maintain, and train on dashboards where analysis / trends are communicated.

  • Organize data with the following goals in mind: accuracy, speed of access, ease of access, and flexibility. Identify patterns or trends to support core operational decisions.

  • Influence existing data collection processes by recommending improvements, workflow modifications, systems, or tool enhancements to ensure quality data.

  • Ensure data quality and accuracy through ongoing data validation, cleansing, and enrichment activities. Includes addressing privacy and security components.

  • Work in a team setting and collaborate with other data analysts and technology partners.

  • Work closely with business leaders to understand their data analysis needs and provide insights and recommendations to inform decision-making.

Some things we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in data analytics, data science or a business-related field of study.

  • 3-5 years of Analyst or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience with data visualization tools, data querying (SQL) and data interpretation skills.

  • Strong communication skills, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to learn in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

  • Have previous experience in construction operations.

  • Have experience with Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server and Microsoft Suite.

Compensation:

The annual base pay range is $85,000 to $100,000. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
