Job Summary:

Compensation: $72,142 - $101,500

The Business Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining data models, business intelligence solutions, reporting platforms, and analytics processes that support financial and operational decision-making. This position reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and works closely with Finance and IT to deliver scalable reporting, data, and AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Business Intelligence & Reporting Development
    • Develop and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reports.
    • Design, develop, and maintain financial and operational data models.
    • Deliver ad hoc analysis, business insights, and special projects as needed.
  • Data Warehouse & Data Management
    • Collaborate on the development, maintenance, and administration of the enterprise data warehouse.
    • Monitor and improve reporting platform performance, data quality, and system reliability.
    • Design, develop, and maintain financial and operational data models.
  • AI Enablement & Technical Leadership
    • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on AI-enabled tools and applications.
    • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
  • Business Partnership & Analytics
    • Partner with business stakeholders to define requirements, KPIs, and analytical solutions.
    • Provide data analytics to FP&A and other departments to drive business decisions.
  • Data Governance, Security & Administration
    • Administer reporting security, data governance, and access controls.
  • Documentation, Training & Process Improvement
    • Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel, VBA and 365 Software Suite

Education and Experience:

  • Four or more years of experience in data analytics and financial modelling
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Experience working within an ERP environment, supporting financial reporting processes
  • Experience in a distribution, manufacturing, wholesale, or industrial environment is preferred
