Job Summary
The Enterprise Applications team is seeking a Software Engineer to help build high-visibility, enterprise capabilities that support our diverse software landscape. There is a strong emphasis on full-stack development, specifically .NET, React, and Message Systems. As a key contributor to our enterprise technology platform, you'll help drive business value through modern architectures, emerging technologies, and enabling capabilities. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values craftsmanship, innovation, and the creation of best-in-class experiences for our engineering community. Work Location
This position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office) for collaboration days, team meetings or other in-person events. The position can be based in West Bend, Madison, or Appleton.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • .NET & REST expertise
  • microservices experience
  • React & React Hooks
  • Familiarity with API specification and practices
  • Automated unit, integration, and regression testing
  • CI/CD pipelines to build, test, deploy and release code to the cloud
  • Continuous advocacy of technical craftsmanship and preferred/best practices
  • Review and oversight of peer proposals and solutions

Practical Experience With One Or More Of The Following:
  • Enterprise AI/LLM Engineering (Prompt Engineering, Semantic Kernel, MCP, RAG, etc.)
  • Cloud experience (Microsoft Azure preferred)
  • Event driven design. (Azure Service Bus / NServiceBus)

Salary Statement
The salary range for this position is $96,842 - $121,053.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made by West Bend and are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
