About your role:
At Fiserv, we are dedicated to transforming financial services technology to benefit our clients. As a Software Development Engineering - Sr Advisor I, you will play a critical role in leading the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software applications. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with our business goals and client needs.

What you'll do:

  • Provide leadership and expertise in the design, development, and implementation of software applications to support Fiserv's business goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Perform advanced coding, testing, and debugging of applications to ensure optimal performance.

  • Maintain and improve existing codebases and lead peer review processes.

  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers and team members.

  • Drive innovation and best practices within the software development team.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 8+ years of experience in software development

  • 4+ years of experience in Java, C, C#, C++, or similar programming languages

  • 4+ years of experience in SQL databases

  • 4+ years of experience in AWS, Azure, or GCP services

  • 4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

  • 4+ years of experience with Agile methodologies

  • 8+ years of an equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

  • 1+ years of Fiserv systems experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience in the financial services industry
