Associate Sales Representative / Associate Coordinator

Job Description

This Associate Sales Representative / Associate Coordinator role supports a fast-paced operations team by serving as a key liaison between distributors, vendors, manufacturing facilities, and internal departments. You will manage a high volume of distributor inquiries through Salesforce, support order-related processes, and ensure accurate and timely communication about product availability, lead times, and shipment status. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative, customer-facing work, excels at managing multiple priorities, and is committed to delivering a high level of service while maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting overall operational success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of distributor inquiries using Salesforce and other internal systems.
  • Serve as a primary liaison between distributors, vendors, technical teams, manufacturing facilities, and internal stakeholders to ensure clear and timely communication.
  • Research and communicate lead times, product availability, and order status updates to distributors and internal partners.
  • Coordinate with technical departments to identify appropriate parts and solutions for customer and distributor requests.
  • Work closely with scheduling teams and vendor partners to obtain accurate delivery timelines and logistics information.
  • Provide timely, professional, and proactive communication to distributors regarding inquiries, order progress, and any changes or discrepancies.
  • Assist with order entry and order management activities to ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and transaction history within company systems, including Salesforce and SAP.
  • Support general administrative functions to help the operations team run efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in all interactions and processes.
  • Prioritize and manage a high volume of transactions and inquiries in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with team members across departments to resolve issues quickly and support high levels of client and distributor satisfaction.
  • Monitor logistics, transportation, and delivery information to help resolve discrepancies and ensure on-time deliveries.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by supporting distributors and internal sales associates with accurate information and responsive service.

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in transportation, administrative support, coordination, or a related operations role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with distributors, vendors, and internal teams.

Work Environment

You will use modern business systems and tools, including Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and the broader Microsoft Office Suite, to manage inquiries, orders, and internal communication. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
