ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

Work location and business travel – the position will be responsible for maintaining coverage of existing customers in Madison and surrounding suburbs. Ideally, the position will be based out of the employee’s home office in the area supported. Travel to customer sites will be required as needed to ensure in person contact with prospective and established customers. Attendance at quarterly team meetings at Tassos HQ will be required.

Sales and Marketing – Act as Ambassador of Tassos® demonstrating expert knowledge of Tassos® product line, item specifications and packaging profiles. Assist with promotional policies and programs for their territory. Assist in gathering market research required for the growth of The Company at large, advising of the buyer’s needs for type of product desired and providing market trends in the area. Analysis of customer accounts and territory to determine opportunities for expansion of distribution in the territory.

Merchandising and Order Fulfillment - The Wisconsin Part-Time Junior Sales Associate will provide merchandising assistance and order fulfillment for each of the active accounts listed on their route for specific sales territory each week. This includes stocking Tassos’s products, merchandising displays, presenting new products and special promotions and working with the DSD Manager to increase sales and market share.

Customer Service – The Representative will assist The Company with identification of promotions, damaged goods, reconciliation of invoices, collections and product recalls as it relates to customer accounts within the territory. Monitor competitive products’ presence in the territory, evaluate and report on price, brand and quality against the Tassos® brand. Gather information regarding the Tassos® Brand, competitive products or new trends related to the category as directed.

· Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.

· REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of account generation and territory development techniques.

  • Experience Required: 2-3 years’ sales experience preferred. 2 years of sales/service-related work required.

· Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and be able to provide proof of insurance.

  • Excellent computer skills: Including Word, Power Point, Excel, and Outlook.
  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS - Strong, engaging interpersonal and persuasion skills needed to close sales.
  • PHYSICAL STRENGTH – Must be able lift 30 pounds. Frequent, bending, walking and lifting.
