We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate RN to join the Emergency Department team during night shifts. This role is pivotal in ensuring quality patient care by effectively utilizing resources and supporting staff to deliver excellent healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily patient assignments and coordinate care rounds with physicians.
  • Serve as a primary contact for physicians and administrative staff.
  • Provide support and guidance to nurses, nursing assistants, monitoring technicians, and unit secretaries.
  • Assist with clinical procedures and verify physician orders.
  • Conduct daily quality control and equipment checks on the unit.
  • Evaluate patient acuity and assist in staff performance assessments.
  • Support clinical education efforts in the absence of the Clinical Educator or Preceptor.
  • Engage with patients and families regularly to ensure comfort and understanding.
  • Collaborate with care coordinators, discharge planners, and nursing supervisors to optimize patient placement and care transitions.
  • Implement hospital innovation initiatives and monitor staff performance related to patient satisfaction metrics.

Education
