This role includes advanced tasks in health information management, such as data analysis, compliance, and quality assurance. Additionally, the Associate will train and mentor new HIM Associates.Position Details:
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical terminology.
Experience: 1 year in HIM/medical records or holds an RHIT/RHIA credential from an accredited program.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience: 2 years in an acute care medical records department.
Other Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
Demonstrates all levels of skill set with the knowledge to lead, mentor, and precept the team. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
