Job Summary:
Project Name: Supplemental Staffing for Revenue Cycle Functions
Provide support to Revenue Cycle through the following: - Review coverage discovery for scheduled patient appointments to determine patient responsibility - Document coverage appropriately in Epic - Identify trends in coverage and point of service patient responsibility collections for each of the 88 clinic locations - Recommend process changes that would optimize collection of patient responsibility related revenue and third party payments - Communicate with clinical and operations leadership related to coverage discovery, patient responsibility, and revenue cycle related topics
Skill Required:
- Epic PB experience, certification preferred
- RHIA/RHIT/CPC certified required
- revenue cycle reporting, build, logic, claims adjudication, data, and training
- clearinghouse - Third party coverage discovery
- RTE interpretation
Skill Preferred:
Public health, community health, physician clinic, FQHC, RHC revenue cycle experience Mississippi healthcare experience
