What This Role Isโ€ฆ

As a Receiving Associate, the primary function of this position is to receive furniture into the distribution center efficiently with no damages. The Receiving Associate is also responsible for attaching labels to products, verifying SKUs and product information to ensure bar code accuracy, and reduce inventory variances. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Operations Department at CITY HOME.

Pay Rate:ย  $18/hr

Compensation: This Receiving Associate role in Plant City starts with a base hourly rate of $18.00, with opportunities to advance up to $20.50 through tenure-based increases. The compensation is complemented by an extensive benefits package.

What Youโ€™ll Doโ€ฆ

As a Receiving Associate, your primary responsibilities will be to:

  • Unload products utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages and prevent personal injuryย 
  • Attach labels to products and verify SKUs and product information to ensure bar code accuracy and reduce inventory variancesย 
  • Verify purchase orders to confirm accuracy of product receivedย 
  • Examine product for damages, notifies Supervisors of damaged products, documents reasons for damagesย 
  • Operate order pickers and tuggers in a safe mannerย 
  • Stage products in accurate zones and utilizes proper handling techniques to minimize damagesย
