Job Responsibilities & Requirements
A Brief Overview
Responsible for the implementation, operation, and continuous optimization of MiTek's Microsoft endpoint management, and automation platforms. This role ensures the stability, performance, and compliance of the enterprise Intune environment.
This is a senior individual contributor role focused on execution, with accountability for building, maintaining, and troubleshooting production systems while advancing automation, compliance, and repeatable deployment practices through scripting and API-driven solutions.
Responsibilities
Endpoint Management (Intune) Execution
  • Implement and optimize the Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune) platform
  • Execute against remediation and improvement roadmap
  • Build and maintain configuration profiles, compliance policies, and conditional access
  • Manage application deployment, patching, and update strategies
  • Support device enrollment and lifecycle management (e.g., Autopilot)
Platform Operations & Support
  • Maintain monitoring and reporting to ensure platform health and auditability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated technical issues
  • Ensure operational stability and performance of endpoint and identity services
  • Operate identity services aligned with security and compliance requirements
Azure DevOps, Automation & Graph API
  • Support Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories for endpoint, identity, and infrastructure automation
  • Develop automation using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for Intune configuration and compliance workflows
  • Implement configuration-as-code practices for endpoint and identity management
  • Maintain version control of scripts, policies, and configuration artifacts
  • Assist in CI/CD pipeline development for repeatable deployment of configurations
  • Drive automation of operational tasks to improve consistency and efficiency
Compliance & Operational Maturity
  • Support enforcement and reporting of endpoint compliance policies
  • Contribute to audit readiness and evidence generation through automation
  • Identify and remediate compliance gaps through scripting and platform improvements
  • Standardize configurations and improve operational maturity
  • Partner with security and compliance teams to align technical controls
Collaboration & Engineering Contribution
  • Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams
  • Provide engineering input into standards and roadmap decisions
  • Document configurations and maintain operational runbooks

Qualifications
Required
  • 6+ Years administering Microsoft Intune in production environments
  • 6+ Years Experience with Microsoft Entra ID
  • 6+ Years Experience operating and optimizing existing environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently on complex issues
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of endpoint management concepts
Preferred
  • Experience with Azure services and resource management
  • PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API automation experience
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines, CI/CD workflows)
  • Experience supporting compliance or audit environments
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers
Certifications (Preferred)
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Additional Requirements
  • 10% travel may be required.

Physical Demands
This role is performed in an office environment where a computer, telephone and other office equipment are used as needed to perform the duties of the role. This role may need to access areas within the building that are undergoing renovations which may contain jobsite hazards. Occasionally this role will required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
