Job Title: Accounting Associate
Client: Aerospace Industry
Duration: 6 Months (Temp to Hire)
Location: Orangeburg, NY 10962
Shift: Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Position Summary:
The Accounting Associate will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance across financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting. This role involves maintaining financial controls, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and cost analysis within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with accounting and financial recording standards (GL entries, cash transactions, tax postings, etc.).
  • Perform reconciliations of balance sheet, P&L, and bank accounts.
  • Prepare accounting schedules and reports for management and compliance purposes.
  • Support consolidation of financial statements, cash flow, and budget reporting.
  • Conduct cost analysis, variance reviews, and assist in budget preparation.
  • Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities.

Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Ability to work independently with general supervision.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with attention to detail.
