Job description

Position Summary

We’re seeking a detail-driven and collaborative professional to join our team in an accounting support role. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supporting core accounting processes such as commission reconciliation, invoice verification, and month-end reporting.

You’ll work closely with the Accounting Manager and other departments to support efficient workflows, maintain compliance, and help drive organizational success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Record deposits from bank accounts and checks received
  • Record and Reconcile Direct Bill Commissions
  • Enter vouchers by verifying invoice accuracy and ensuring proper approval per company policy
  • Assist with month-end data entry and reporting tasks under the direction of the Accounting Manager
  • Support reconciliation and documentation processes for financial records
  • Assist with miscellaneous administrative projects as assigned
  • Final production statement processing/verification
  • Agency sweep (DBIL activity) transactions
  • Provide support to the licensing department as needed
  • Assist accounting manager with integration into a new agency management system.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Associates in accounting or business administration preferred
  • Previous experience in reception and/or accounting support roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
