Summer 2026 Accounting Internship In addition to significant professional development, mentorship, and real-world project experience, participants will be considered for a one-time, performance-based payment at the conclusion of the program. The amount depends on business and individual results. Bauer Entertainment Marketing (www.BauerEM.com), is looking for a dynamic professional to support its Finance initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in pursuing a career in Finance and/or Accounting within the entertainment, marketing, and sports industry. As an Accounting Intern, you will support the Accountant with day-to-day operations while gaining valuable experience across multiple Finance/Accounting functions. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to build practical skills while working alongside an experienced Finance/Accounting professional in a collaborative environment. This internship requires a minimum commitment of three days per week. Specific days and hours can be coordinated with your supervisor based on business needs and academic schedules. Daily activities include, but are not limited to the following:Assist with recording and verifying financial transactions, such as invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses, using QBO & spreadsheets.Assist with reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries & generating reports for financial analysis using QBO & spreadsheets at month-end.Assist with onboarding new clients & processing invoices.Assist with payroll for employees & contractors. This may also include onboarding new employees or contractors into Gusto, our payroll partner.Participate in accounting projects and research.Provide administrative support for accounting recordsContribute to accounting/bookkeeping proceduresThis position reports to the Bookkeeper. This is an internship that will correspond with your educational study / school credit requirements. This internship can be done from our workspace in East Nashville and/or remotely.
