Job Overview

We're looking for an Associate HR Business Partner to join our team in Grafton, ND! This position is responsible for implementing and administering human resources programs and policies. This includes partnering with the HR team and broader HR organization to assist with securing and developing talent, shaping the culture and promoting Marvin values, and executing organizational design processes (strategy, structure, people, processes and rewards) in alignment with the HR and business strategic plans.

Highlights of your role
  • Lead and/or assist with HR and business projects in alignment with the HR and/or business strategic plans.
  • Advise leaders and employees on policies and best practices, addressing employee complaints/concerns with appropriate confidentiality and a bias for action.
  • Support programs and events designed to improve workplace culture.
  • Administer employee recognition programs.
  • Partner with the Communications and Culture team to ensure to maximize awareness & utilization of opportunities for Better Living at Marvin within partner groups. Conduct exit interviews and stay interviews.
  • Assist with the execution of annual and regular HR processes, such as performance management, career development & pathing, development of job descriptions, talent review and succession planning, and the annual employee survey or other listening initiatives.
  • Coordinate and/or manage HR matters such as leaves of absence, accommodations, return to work, and unemployment claims.
  • Assist with questions regarding HR systems and processes, benefits and wellness, and policies. Partner with internal resources, such as Total Rewards, the Benefits Helpline, payroll, and HRIS to resolve issues as they arise and provide accurate information to inquiries.
