A common challenge is prioritizing tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines while maintaining editorial quality and accuracy. This role requires strong organizational skills and clear communication with writers, senior editors, and other team members to ensure everyone is aligned. Developing efficient workflows and being adaptable to sudden changes—such as urgent revisions or shifting editorial calendars—are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

  • Set up and fine-tune printer parameters for optimal output
  • Monitor print quality during runs; adjust as needed
  • Operate heat presses to cure printed garments properly
  • Manage multiple runs effectively across all equipment

Quality Control

  • Inspect finished products for print clarity, color accuracy, placement, etc.
  • Identify and address print defects (banding, color shifts, uneven prints)
  • Ensure orders conform to brand quality standards
  • Confirm that final products match the original order specifications

Maintenance & Equipment Care

  • Perform routine maintenance: clean print heads, check nozzles, etc.
  • Keep printers and workstations clean and organized
  • Monitor ink levels and replace cartridges when needed

  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and checklists
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask across machines
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
