As a Solutions Engineer, you'll be a key partner to our B2B customers - helping them understand how Shure's industryleading technology can solve realworld challenges. You'll create demand by proactively engaging prospects, uncovering needs, and proposing smart, tailored AV/IT solutions that elevate the customer experience. You'll use your technical insight to engage customers early, understand their challenges, and recommend the best path forward with Shure solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and Target Prospects: Research and identify potential B2B customers who could benefit from Shure's AV and IT solutions.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and implement strategies to generate leads through various channels, including webinars, social media, and industry events.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine prospecting approaches.
    • Qualify projects and determine their potential readiness to benefit from Shure's solutions
  • Customer Needs Analysis: Understand and document customer business challenges and needs through active listening and strategic questioning.
  • Product Education: Educate prospects about Shure's products and solutions, demonstrating how our offerings can address their AV and IT requirements effectively.
  • Solution Proposal:Develop tailored proposals that clearly outline the benefits and value of Shure's AV and IT solutions for each customer.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs through effective management of the sales cycle (Opportunity tracking in Salesforce).
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, customer success, and technical experts to ensure cohesive and comprehensive customer experiences.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics using Salesforce CRM tools.
  • Represent Shure at Industry events and conferences.
  • Support customized end-user engagement activations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience using skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and products.
  • Experience providing audio technical support, audio design, and audio equipment set-up.
  • Background or experience with 1-2 of the following: Integration, conferencing, or networking.
  • Understanding of industry practices and/or company policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Enjoy meeting and dealing with new people.
  • Knowledge of audio DSP technology.
  • Expert troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments, work independently, and see projects through to successful completion.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and good time management skills.
  • 50% travel annually - including some weekends - is required.

Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The base salary for this position ranges from $69,600 to $118,400, with a midpoint target.  If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions.
