We are a private practice in search of A Board-Certified Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1 year(s) of primary care experience

At Onestop Medical we are trying to change the approach to healthcare. Our focus is on building longstanding and trustworthy relationships with our patients through shorter wait times for appointment scheduling, thorough and timely communication of diagnostic testing, and providing excellent patient care at every visit.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Physician Associate/Assistant is expected to:
  • Function within their designated scope of practice, complete detailed history and physical examinations, place orders and referrals, interpret results of diagnostic tests, prescribe and dispense medications as appropriate, for both in person and telehealth appointments.
  • Develop treatment plans and provide anticipatory guidance, screening, and health education to patients to promote and maintain health.
  • Communicate with patients regarding lab results, advice, follow-up instructions, and referrals.
  • Promote positive patient relations while maintaining confidentiality, privacy, and dignity.
  • Participate in health promotion and clinic marketing events.
  • To work independently and as a team with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain active licensure, certification, and continuing education, without disciplinary action.
  • Provide comprehensive medical care under the supervision of a physician.
  • Communicate regularly with clinic administration and actively participate in team meetings for effective problem solving and communication
  • To be able to perform the above job description and functions and other duties as assigned by the clinic Medical Director under minimal supervision.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited physician associate/assistant program
  • Valid physician associate/assistant license in Washington state
  • DEA licensure with prescriptive authority
  • Board certification required
  • Minimum 2 years experience providing professional clinical services, preferable in an outpatient clinical setting
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate commitment to issues around diversity and social justice.
  • Active CPR/BLS for providers certification
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Geriatric training/experience (preferred)
  • Bilingual – Hindi, Punjabi, and/or Spanish (preferred)
