Job Description: The FOH Assistant Supervisor is responsible for assisting the FOH Management in overseeing the FOH operations. This includes providing leadership, seamless customer service and guest experiences, optimizing profitability and provide a safe and positive work environment. This position is to provide leadership through coaching and developing employees, providing guidance and communicating the Company’s standards, expectations, vision and value to employees.
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
• Previous Supervisor/Leadership experience for a minimum of 6 months
• Previous experience in theater or restaurant
• Available to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Hours will be based on needs of the business to cover salaried manager leaves, vacation, sick time and peak business weeks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Serve Safe Manager Certification, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours).
• Ability to work in a faced paced, high stress environment, while still delivering on our promises to our guests, ensuring a team focused environment.
Job Responsibilities:
• Complete opening and closing checklists, including daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
• Understand and comply consistently with our rules, policies and procedures
• Know our food menu, including possible allergens with the ability to relay it to guests.
• Handle, store and rotate all products properly.
• Take food orders from guests; accurately enter orders in our point-of-sale.
• Accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change accurately.
• Run food from expeditor to the guest. Repeating delivery items, alerting the guest of upcoming items, and ensuring the experience meets Envision standards.
• Monitor and observe guests dining and theater experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
• Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to salaried Managers.
• Inform Salary Manager-on duty immediately of any guest issues or threats to guest experience.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
• Clean restaurant and theater surfaces continuously through the shift.
• Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurants as direct by the salaried manager or immediate supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by management team.
• Monitor and enforce state liquor laws and alcohol awareness
• Lead by example and train employees by demonstrating proper service standards, procedures and policies
• Share menu knowledge with team, and troubleshoot any food complaints with manager overseeing BOH operations on shift
• Perform accurate cash handing
• Conduct daily line-ups
• Call in or off staff based on business volume
• Maintain visibility during peak hours
• Perform administrative duties to include but not limited to scheduling employees, performing inventory, ordering supplies, completing daily paperwork and reporting shift information to salaried managers
• Perform other duties as assigned
