Job description

Janitorial Supervisor

Summit Building Services is looking for a part time supervisor to join our janitorial team! We service commercial buildings in Logan, London, Delaware, Marion, Dublin, Hilliard, Sunbury, New Albany, and surrounding areas. You would be assisting with coverage, training new employees, detail work, and assisting with supply orders.

30-40 hours weekly: Sunday-Friday, varying schedule starting as early as 5pm

Pay: $22.00 hourly

You must have reliable transportation to get to and from work, a valid drivers license, and be able to pass drug tests and background checks.

Job Duties Include:

  1. Work with employees to handle all client requests or complaints promptly
  2. Supervise, train, motivate and develop team members
  3. Arrange for coverage in the event of an employee absence
  4. Disciplinary action and retraining of employees when necessary
  5. Perform regular inspections of buildings to ensure that specifications are being met
  6. Correct deficiencies in buildings whenever necessary
  7. Complete work tickets
  8. Send reports to Area Manager
  9. Recommendation of special project work when needed
  10. Complete ongoing education to gain competency in their position
  11. Carry out supervisory responsibilities by the company’s policies and applicable laws.
