To succeed in this position, the candidate should have the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:

  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office applications - 2-3 years experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, & Adobe - 2+ years experience.
  • Ability to conduct detailed financial analysis.
  • Knowledge and experience in Revenue Management principles and practices.
  • 1+ years experience in Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are desirable:

  • Knowledge & experience of OnQ R&I system.
  • Working experience with Revenue Management System.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Optimize room rental revenue through effective inventory/revenue management and pricing strategies.
  • Monitor all distribution channels to ensure effective selling.
  • Optimize RevPAR by analyzing and forecasting demand, and establishing effective selling strategies, oversell strategies, and efficient market mix, including group, transient, wholesale, and catering revenues.
  • Manage and update current selling strategies and product information in all available distribution channels/reservation sources (onsite, third-party reservation providers, call centers, websites, GDS, etc.).
  • Closely monitor competitive pricing and respond to the impact of pricing decisions on property performance.
  • Assist Revenue Analysts in evaluating and analyzing all group business for appropriate mix and revenue strategies.
  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Regional Revenue Manager and Sr. Regional Revenue Manager.
  • Continually monitor all pertinent travel-related websites to ensure competitiveness in both availability and price.
  • Apply penetration reports to achieve rental revenue goals as well as timeshare sales goals.
  • Participate in the annual budget process with mentorship from the Regional Revenue Manager & Sr. Regional Revenue Manager.

  • Complete all required Company training/compliance courses as assigned.
