Have you built your career managing commercial relocations and want to join an established business where you can take ownership of complex move projects?


A growing national moving and relocation company is looking to bring on an Office & Industrial Moving Project Manager to join its team in Sterling, VA. You'll be responsible for leading commercial relocation projects, working alongside clients and operational teams to ensure every move is delivered according to plan.


Your Office & Industrial Project Manager role will involve:

  • Taking ownership of commercial move projects from initial enquiry through to completion and post-project support.
  • Meeting with clients to understand project requirements and develop practical relocation plans.
  • Scheduling labour, vehicles, specialist equipment and external services to support each move.
  • Liaising with operations teams to keep projects on schedule and resolve any issues as they arise.
  • Tracking project milestones, maintaining accurate records and keeping clients informed of progress.
  • Conducting post-move reviews to ensure all agreed work has been completed.
  • Managing several live projects at once while maintaining service standards and delivery times.


To succeed in this role, you’ll bring with you:

  • Previous experience managing Office & Industrial or commercial moving projects. (1-2+ years required)
  • A solid understanding of commercial relocation planning and operational coordination procedures.
  • The ability to prioritise multiple projects and adapt to changing client requirements.
  • Strong customer-facing skills and experience working with corporate clients.
  • Confidence working with and scheduling dispatch, warehouse and field operations teams.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle to travel to client project sites.
