Receptionist – Rural Health Clinic (Full-Time)

Location: Clay County Medical Center – Mental Health Clinic

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Clay County Medical Center is seeking a professional, friendly, and organized receptionist to join our Rural Health Clinic team. This full-time position plays a vital role in supporting our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner by ensuring smooth front-office operations and delivering excellent service to our patients in a respectful, safe, and confidential environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a courteous and welcoming manner

• Answer multi-line phones and take detailed messages professionally

• Schedule and confirm patient appointments; coordinate follow-up visits

• Perform general front-desk duties, including patient registration and data entry

• Manage patient forms and assist with documentation

•Coordinate communication between patients and clinic staff

• Maintain confidentiality and help foster a calm, respectful clinic environment

Requirements:

• Prior receptionist, administrative, or medical office experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

•Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
