Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Heritage Grove Estates - SNF
Status: Part-Time
Reports To: Lead Receptionist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and professional Part-time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers while supporting resident safety and facility operations. This role combines front desk responsibilities with administrative support in supply management, contributing to the overall efficiency and hospitality of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and assist visitors, families, vendors, and staff upon entry.

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Monitor the lobby area to ensure resident safety, including awareness of unauthorized exits.

  • Maintain visitor logs and enforce sign-in protocols in compliance with facility policies.

  • Provide general information and direct inquiries to the appropriate departments.

Resident Safety Monitoring:

  • Ensure residents are not left unattended in lobby or reception areas.

  • Observe and report any concerning behaviors or safety risks to the charge nurse leadership.

  • Uphold facility policies regarding resident confidentiality and safe discharge procedures.

Supply Ordering Support:

  • Assist with organizing and labeling deliveries upon arrival.

  • Maintain basic documentation related to ordering and supply levels.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, or clerical role preferred.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and maintain professionalism under pressure.

  • Familiarity with phone systems, email, and basic office equipment.

  • Sensitivity to the needs of the elderly and those in a healthcare setting.

Work Schedule:

  • Primarily Monday-Friday 4 PM – 8:00 PM, and typically 1 day on the weekend 8:30 AM - 5 PM.
