Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for an entry- to mid-level professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior office experience and be organized, motivated, detail-oriented, and driven. This is a perfect opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.What will I do? In this role, you will help keep purchasing, vendor communication, and material orders organized and moving smoothly. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Place purchase orders for materials and freight.Track orders, follow up with vendors, and expedite orders when needed.Assign landed costs to purchase orders as receipts are processed.Coordinate with Shipping regarding orders ready for pickup.Request inspection reports, material certifications, and other required documentation from vendors.Maintain accurate order information and notes in the ERP system.Communicate professionally with vendors, customers, management, and coworkers.Assist with phones and other administrative duties as needed.Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.Job Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered. 2 years of experience in an office, purchasing, or manufacturing environment preferred.
