POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the successful planning, coordination, and
execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. The Project Engineer will work closely with
Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to help ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule,
within budget, and in accordance with contract documents and company standards.
This role is responsible for managing project documentation, coordinating RFIs and submittals, tracking project progress,
supporting cost control and scheduling efforts, and facilitating communication between field and office teams. The ideal
candidate is organized, proactive, technically proficient, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction
environment while contributing to the overall success of the project team.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Contract start up docs/close out docs
Complete monthly AIA billing based on contract terms
Perform required payroll reporting based on contract terms (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
Manage, maintain, and follow up on BID Calendar/Follow-up
Prepare Bid Bonds/attend bid meetings
Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction
projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, drawings, specifications, permits, contracts, and
closeout documents.
Review contract documents and project plans to ensure scope requirements, schedules, and project objectives
are clearly understood and executed.
Coordinate and track all RFIs, submittals, ASIs, bulletins, and change orders to ensure timely resolution and
distribution to all project stakeholders.
Support project scheduling activities by monitoring progress, tracking milestones, identifying potential delays,
and assisting with recovery planning when necessary.
Assist with project cost control by tracking commitments, purchase orders, subcontractor invoices, change
orders, and budget impacts.
Collaborate with field personnel, subcontractors, architects, engineers, owners, and vendors to maintain project
communication and workflow efficiency.
Attend project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, distribute action items, and follow up on outstanding issues.
Ensure all project information, communications, and documentation are properly maintained within Procore and
company systems.
Coordinate procurement activities and assist in tracking material deliveries to support project schedules and field
operations.
Assist with project startup activities including permits, insurance certificates, subcontractor onboarding, and
safety documentation.
Support project closeout activities including punch lists, warranties, as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and
final project turnover.
Help ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards and contractual requirements.
Review and process subcontractor and vendor documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Assist in identifying project risks, constructability concerns, and coordination conflicts while helping develop
practical solutions.
Maintain accurate records of daily project activities, correspondence, and project status updates.
Ensure all project team members have proper access and utilization of Procore and other project management
software platforms.
Support the company's commitment to safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and efficient project delivery.

REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience in construction project admin or related field preferred
Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with project team members,
contractors, and clients.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage project documentation.
Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Proficiency in project management software (Procore)
Proficiency in Microsoft suite preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Public Notary not required but preferred.
