Overview
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and ready to launch your career in large-scale industrial project management? BlastOne, a rapidly expanding, family-oriented global leader in the Industrial Corrosion Control Industry, is looking for an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the delivery of multi-million-dollar design/build projects.
This is your chance to be part of a team building blasting and coating facilities that shape the future of shipyards, industrial plants, and defense infrastructure. You'll play a key internal role, keeping projects on track by making sure equipment and materials are delivered on time and on budget.
The Role
As an Assistant Project Manager, you will:
  • Support Project Managers and Senior Project Managers on projects ranging from $5M-$50M.
  • Take ownership of internal coordination, including procurement, equipment tracking, and documentation.
  • Ensure all manufactured and purchased equipment is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change order documentation, and project files in Procore.
  • Track action items, follow up relentlessly, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Assist with scheduling, budgets, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Provide critical internal support so project managers can focus on client-facing execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience supporting project teams in industrial, construction, or equipment-related environments.
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with design/build projects and industrial equipment integration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Procore experience a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and grow.
