An established and fast-growing commercial general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer to support project delivery across Miami-Dade County. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated early-career construction professional looking to develop into a Project Manager role. Client Details This privately held construction firm has built a strong reputation across South Florida for delivering healthcare, institutional, commercial, multifamily, and education projects. Known for its collaborative culture, employee development, and client-focused approach, the company continues to grow through repeat business and long-standing industry relationships. Description * Support a Junior Project Manager with interior renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout. * Assist with project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and coordination activities. * Work alongside field and office teams to maintain schedules, budgets, and quality standards. * Participate in commercial and multifamily construction projects throughout Miami-Dade County. * Develop the skills and experience required to progress into larger, more complex projects. Profile * 0-3 years of construction experience as a Project Engineer, Coordinator, or Assistant Project Manager. * Local South Florida construction experience preferred. * Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred but not required. * Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and team-oriented approach. * Motivated to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in construction management. Job Offer Salary: $65,000-$80,000 base salary + bonus * Fuel card, company cell phone or phone allowance, medical benefits, 401(k), and PTO. * Direct exposure to healthcare, education, commercial, and multifamily projects valued from $1M-$30M. * Structured mentorship and a defined pathway toward a Project Manager position.
